January 2016 Blizzard!

We had our first snow storm this weekend! Gillian informed me that "NO", she absolutely did NOT want to go outside, so I totally ignored her and bundled up her and Bryce for a nice walk up the street to visit the McGoldricks.

This 15 second snapshot of our walk is an exact replica of the 10 minutes that we spent outside. Neighbors looked at us, and even Gillian seemed confused by what the heck Bryce was so upset about.  We still don't know!

PS: Check out two new blog posts below!

The day is nearly upon us

Gillian has been waiting patiently for her birthday since she realized that birthdays are AWESOME, right around Bryce's birthday.  Thanks to her ever growing obsession with (disturbing) YouTube videos about Baby Alive dolls, she now has told anyone who will listen EXACTLY what she wants for her birthday:

Since Gillian can't read, I feel safe admitting here in the privacy of written word, that Gillian, will in face, receive one of these dirty dolls for her 3rd birthday. Can't wait to buy 400 replacement food packets and diaper that cost more than the doll!

PS: Check out the previous Christmas Post (it's like a kid book, mostly pictures).

Thanksgiving & Christmas 2015

Hi everyone!

We're really going to have to go back in time to catch up here; it's been a busy holiday season!

We had Thanksgiving at our house.  All the grandparents came (except we missed Nana Kate)! and the kids had fun playing with everyone.  Gillian was very excited to photograph her gingerbread artwork, carefully crafted by Tracy and Gilly.  Bryce crawled around (until Christmas) and now he is walking everywhere, in that adorable "new walker" way.

We met with Santa and let's just say that Bryce was less than thrilled.

Gillian "sang" in her first Christmas Concert!  Next year, we'll be working on our stage presence (specific areas for development: nose picking, screaming Daddy's name upon first sight):

After last year's travels to Florida, we prayed for no vomiting on the plane this year.  See?

To be totally transparent, while no one threw up on the plane, Gillian woke us up at midnight on the night before we flew to Florida,  to report that she had "throwed up" all over her crib and self :) AND her Patriots shirt. Luckily, that was the only incidence of throwing up (and her precious patriots shirt was salvaged) we had this Christmas.

Here is Gillian collecting shells. She picked one out for everyone she knew.  She's also wearing the sandals that she asked Santa for for Christmas :)

Happy Hour @ the Pool
Matching Christmas PJs (thanks, Shel!)
