July Fun

Hello all!

Hope everyone is having a great summer; I sure am!

July flew by.  After we got back from Florida, I went to see dada at his office.  I love Twitter!  Everyone is so friendly; I can't wait to go back!

I am so into my new exersaucer and jumper (I have one in my apt and one at my country house)!  They are awesome and I love playing in them.

I still love exploring the world... with my mouth.

I'm starting to sample food; I hear it's tastier than plastic, cloth, etc.

Mom had a fun photo shoot with me one morning after I woke up.  It's a miracle that I was able to hold my head up with the size of this bow (go big or go home)!

It's hard to believe that Mom starts work again on Wednesday!  I'll be honest; I think she's losing her mind about it, (sometimes she hugs me and starts crying for no reason) but she's going to make it.  After all, she likes work, and I'm obviously going to be fine!  I have a new friend, Rosenda, who has been playing with me a few hours a week for the past month, and now mom says she's going to be around all the time.

I'm 4 Months Old!

Hi all,

So much action in the last few weeks! Most notably, I turned 4 months old!

I graduated to the big girl stroller seat, which was a huge relief because mom finally got the message that if we didn't ditch the car seat, I was going to jump out.  Here's me having the BEST TIME EVER in my stroller (the truth is, my mom was making me laugh.  She is hilarious)!!

I went for my four month doctors appointment last week.  I got shot up with all sorts of viruses and had a mental breakdown, as anyone in my diaper would have.  The GREAT news is that I am now 14 lbs, which puts me back in the 50th percentile for weight, which is where I started!  I'm also in the 90th percentile for height, so if you need help reaching something on a high shelf, you know who to call.

The doctor said that I could try 'tastes' of food, so Daddy gave me a taste of his smoothie.  I was smiling to be polite; I really don't see why anyone would like food better than milk.

I have been enjoying my toys much more, and spend most of my time trying to put them in my mouth.

I also took my first subway ride this month!!! I LOVED it.

I've been getting the feeling that people are watching me lately.  I haven't quite figured out what's going on, but I'm becoming more vigilant...

 I'm nurturing some more high brow hobbies like reading...

and playing the piano.

We took a little vacation down to Florida.  Here is me at the airport having fun in the baby bjorn or as we call it-- the front loader.

Here are some shots of me having fun in the sun shade.  I also loved putting my feet in the sand and swimming in the pool.  (Even though I look entirely unimpressed in the pool pics, it was definitely awesome and I can't wait to start swimming laps).

 As you know, I like to sneak in some TV time when I can get it.  Here we are watching some tennis with the boys.
